Market Rulebook:

Learn about how the program operates and how payments will be calculated in the Market Rulebook.

If you are a commercial or industrial customer, or an aggregator working with these customers in the Kitchener South area and can reduce facility demand by at least 100 kW during peak periods then you may be eligible to participate.  Program participants will receive financial compensation based on the performance of their eligible behind-the-meter Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) during activation periods. Activation periods will be preceded by advance notification and are meant to address grid constraints during peak periods.
